Red is one of my staple colors, which if you know anything about Chinese Medicine would clue you in to my fire-y personality. ;) I'm actually trying to bring more calming colors into my house, but I just can't stay away from the red! Holidays: Attack of the Plaid Dresses

Is it too early to bust out some Christmas lists? I suppose not. I realize I say this every year, but MAN THIS YEAR HAS FLOWN BY! I can't even believe it. As soon as I see snow, I just want everything to smell like clove, cinnamon and apple cider. I also start getting the urge to watch Holiday Inn and any other thing involving Bing Crosby. :)

Okay, so this post might be a little crazy, but I'm sort of obsessed with plaid. Okay not sort of, just absolutely. I was looking for vintage plaid dresses for winter and found a million cute ones. So I thought I'd share a few of them. You might need Dramamine, I don't know... here we go.

A few days ago I was cleaning out my DVD collection and came across a stack of loose CD's I hadn't seen in years! Among these CD's was a disk containing all my pictures from a trip to Europe I took in 2006! I was so excited because I thought I had lost them. Unfortunately, looking through the pictures gave me a bit of the travel bug (I'm horribly afflicted) and now I'm ready to plan a new trip! New Loves: Alder & Co.

After a spending the summer "somewhat" disconnected from the internet, I am back and itching to fill up this blog space again. :) In my inter-excursions, I stumbled across this super cute shop, Alder & Co. I love the mixture of neutrals and bold colors!
