Tis the Season

Hey howdy!

We got our Christmas tree today! Wheee! The family tradition (aka The Great Tree Hunt) took place this morning out at a tree farm that my family has gone to for 30 years! It's a tradition that I love.

The crisp, cold air... the whole family being together... the smell of freshly cut pine trees... the hot chocolate that my mom brings every year (and sneaks in a "secret" peppermint stick to make it minty!)... I love it all!

So now that I'm in full decorating swing, of course there are a few Etsy treats that caught my eye. And of course I had to share!

Pretty Things...

Hey there loveens!

Sorry I've been MIA! My grandpa passed away recently and I haven't felt like writing for a little while. (A special post dedicated to my grandpa Fred coming up in the next week!)

He really meant so much to me and I will miss him a lot. I also was away at the coast for a girls trip shortly after and it was a good time to recharge and listen to the waves. :)

Until I get back to the usual program, here are a few pretty ideas for Christmas gifts! I cannot BELIEVE that Thanksgiving is right around the corner! This year has gone by way too fast, but I am looking forward to the winter and SNOW!! :)

Someone get me a can of paint...

Can we say HELLO DREAM HOUSE??!? I'm so in love with this neutral scheme with the pop of color. And here I was, trying to decide what colors to paint my bedroom. PROBLEM SOLVED. Excuse me while I slip on down to the paint store...
